Apply for Scholarships at Missouri Credit Union

Missouri Credit Union (MCU) recognizes the importance of a college education. We also realize the monetary commitment involved. Since 1993 MCU has awarded $171,000 in scholarships to worthy high school seniors who are members or whose parents are members.

Beginning January 2, 2008, MCU will accept applications for the Pauline "Pat" Miles Scholarships ($2,000 each), the Alan T. Busby Scholarships ($2,000 each) and the Anthony W. Lampe Scholarships ($2,000 each). High school seniors graduating in spring of 2008 are eligible. The recipients will receive the scholarship funds for use toward the four-year college or university of their choice.

Applicant selection will be based on:

Financial need;
Scholastic achievement; and
Extracurricular activities.

Applicants must print and complete MCU’s online application at www.missouricu.org. The following information must be provided:

Biographical sketch of yourself;
High school transcript;
Copy of 2008 -2009 Federal Student Aid form; and
Brief essay of why you feel qualified.

Complete and print a MCU Scholarship Application then mail to the above address.

All of the above must be received at MCU’s Columbia Downtown location no later than close of business (5:30 pm) Friday, April 25, 2008.
